Blue Beard Story (2011)

This story is remade of 'Blue Beard Tale', which is a famous horror tale from France, 'Rabbit VS Turtle', which is one of Aesop stories, and 'Nine Cloud Dreams', a traditional fantasy story from Korea.

I made this project to keep my pace in my personal concept artwork in Visual Package, and set my style as professional. I'm setting my design ability and qualified perspective on concepts now. What is design for me? What is my style? I need the answers.

Well, this work is actually fun! Because I can make my characters and story freely without any pressure. On positive ways, you can see many different kinds of characters and worlds in this project. On negative ways, because of absence of deadline, I don't know how long I do this project; if I get some full-time job, I will consider to stop for a while. (Maybe)


Chloe:
The first victim. She is a timid lady. She is very innocent and kind, but she is too insufficiently competitive. She has nothing: a car, a house, a job, and financial status. Other applicants look her down. They think she could be the first dropout. When Charles sees her situation, he wants to help her, and Red Beard is stimulated and appears in Charles’ fantasy world.
